Does my business have to have a website?

During one of my meetings with some clients I had someone ask me, Does my business really need a website? We have done fine for 20 years without it. I was a little shocked by the question, but figured I would entertain the the person anyway. First of all everyone that is in a business in anything needs a website.

A website is another key marketing tool that if marketed right with proper search engine optimization can generate more contacts than your business or storefront or whatever you have could ever reach. If you are in retail then why not open that global market. You could sell your product or service to someone that you may never had sold to in another country or state.
The Internet has made life alot easier. This year we did all our Christmas shopping on the Internet. Websites are not just for businesses alone. Organizations, clubs, athletics, and ect. all need to be on the Internet so people can find information about your "whatever"

Remember websites can open doors that you may never have thought about.
